Far East Electric has successfully mastered the mass production technology of multi-functional composite copper-aluminum foil and the production technology of HVLP-4 copper foil. At present, it is fully committed to tackling key problems in new composite materials such as three-dimensional porous composite copper/aluminum foil, high thermal conductivity & high electrical conductivity composite copper foil, and HVLP-5 copper foil, providing crucial support for the implementation of the next-generation technologies in the industry.

Driven by the explosive growth of AI servers, 5G communications, and new energy vehicles, HVLP (Ultra-Low Profile Copper Foil) is emerging as a key strategic material in the field of electronic materials and a core substrate for manufacturing high-performance Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). According to the "Three-Year Action Plan for the Development of the Independent and Controllable Information Technology Industry (2025-2027)" issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the HVLP series of high-end copper foils have been included in the list of domestically produced supported products, and the localization rate of core systems in key industries will reach 70% by 2027.
Far East Electric has acutely seized the opportunities of localization, actively addressed the "bottleneck" problems plaguing the copper foil industry in the AI era, and found a "breakthrough point". The independently developed 4.5μm ultra-thin lithium battery copper foil, with a thickness only one-twentieth of a human hair, achieves "weight reduction and efficiency improvement" through the ultra-thinning process. When applied to power batteries, it can directly increase the energy density by 5-9%, while reducing the copper cost of battery cells by nearly 50%. Compared with 8μm copper foil, the use of 4.5μm copper foil can reduce the application cost by nearly half. Its extremely low surface roughness can significantly reduce the signal transmission loss caused by the "skin effect" in high-frequency scenarios such as 5G communications and AI servers.

Meanwhile, Far East Electric's factories have built an intelligent manufacturing system by applying new technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, image recognition, machine learning, and predictive algorithms: Automated logistics equipment such as AGVs realize fully contactless feeding, transportation, and some production processes; On the basis of automated equipment, it deepens the integration of informatization, and builds a smart factory with self-perception, self-decision-making, and self-execution capabilities through technologies such as real-time monitoring of full value chain data, full-process traceability and automatic scheduling via MES (Manufacturing Execution System).

In the future, Far East Electric will fully commit to tackling key problems in new composite materials such as three-dimensional porous composite copper/aluminum foil, high thermal conductivity & high electrical conductivity composite copper foil, and HVLP-5 copper foil to support the application of M8+ grade copper clad laminates and ultra-high-speed PCBs. Far East Electric will continue to give play to its own advantages, sustain innovation, continuously improve product performance and production efficiency, and contribute more to the localization cause of HVLP copper foil.
